The mud river covers are nice, but even if you leave the kennel in the truck year around I would take the cover off in the summer time.

Re: kennel Cover
Mud river crate covers will hold up. If you leave it on during the spring and summer they will fade.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things

Re: kennel Cover
+1 on the mud rivers. I did some research a few years back and came up with them being good ones. i have had one in on my kennel for 3 years and it holds up very well. I only use mine in the winter and put it in the garage in the off season.
The cover is insulated well. I would buy another.

Re: kennel Cover
I do plan to remove it during the warmer months but when its cold it will stay on. How dry will it stay? Meaning if it is in the truck and it pours down rain does it get saturated or does it repel water?
Also, where is the best place to get them price wise?

Re: kennel Cover
I dont recall having to dump water out of the kennel after a rain storm.
I bought mine from http://www.gundogsupply.com/mud-river-k ... overs.html Company based out of Starkville.

Re: kennel Cover
I've had mine bout 2 years and it has held up well and I've never had water in the kennel after lots of rain. My dog seems to like it too cause he's always layed out sleeping in it even when its 30 degrees and it feels like a furnace in there when you open it up to let him out.

You will not be sorry if you get the Mud River.
I have had mine for 3 years.

Re: kennel Cover
I have one from Cabelas. They aren't quite as nice as the Mud River but they hold up well and are insulated.
Re: kennel Cover
Mud river is tough as nails, but like stated previously, it will fade.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)
