KUNKER X1000!!! Them #6's are bad booty!!!aweyerman wrote:I had some #6 left over from teal season and took them to shoot woodies with the other day, I must say I was impressed because at 30-40 yards they kill stone dead. I would have no problem shooting mallards with them inside 30 yards. 4 shots, 3 woodies I figure I can 8 limits out of a box. Lol

Re: Hevi-Metal Shells
I shot them last year in a New BPS....... Hard time ejecting. Tore one brass open like a tuna can. Kicked in the BPS like a mule. Sold BPS and never shot the HSHOT again. I decided to stick with My Red Label and a three inch shell. I think the brass is too thin. I do not believe the shell to be worth the price.........
Re: Hevi-Metal Shells
I used 6 shot last year and they worked great all year long, till I couldnt find anymore to buy. Then this year I wasnt able to find but 2 boxes of it on the shelfs. Everything from teal to snow geese flying over low enoughlegends of the lower mars wrote:KUNKER X1000!!! Re: Hevi-Metal Shells
i shot the hevi 3" #2's last year in a remington 11-87, this year kent 3.5" #3's in a citori o/u.. clean kills when i shoot well.. recoil is not bad..
Re: Hevi-Metal Shells
shot couple cases of hevi metal and black cloud last two years and no doubt worth the money for me in the sloughs where cripples are hard to get. Kill shots defiantly increased using two. Find myself using the clouds most of the time though. Oh yeah, 3.5 in either will kick you ace if you don't have good coat or something on.
