Crabclaw
165" mainframe 9
Crabclaw is dedicated to my uncle and hunting partner for the better part of 28 years. "Unc" passed away Sunday November 13th while I was hunting our lease in Illinois which he was in on just last year. After flying home to Jackson, MS I told Unc while standing at his casket I would bring Crabclaw for him this year if it was the last thing I did. I was on a mission. Yes, we had better bucks on camera but for some reason Crabclaw has stood out in my mind since pic #1 of him. On Sunday November 20th I killed ole Crabclaw during the last day of the Illinois Shotgun Season. As you can see i did it in old school Carhartts the way we used to kill em before all the garbage gimmick clothes of today hit the market. So thanks for reading and goodbye to my Unc! the best whitetail hunter I have ever met or will ever meet. He didnt kill big whitetails in the black dirt of the Midwest, he killed trophy whitetails in the red dirt of Rankin and Simpson Counties. (Who does that consistently?!) This Buck is for you.
