Where is the law

Postby Wingman » Tue Nov 08, 2011 8:55 am

That says a uniformed officer cannot wear his duty weapon in a voting place?

I was "de-gunned" this morning in Isola. First time this has happened.

I had mine on every time I have ever voted while on duty. I would have loved for someone to take it off of me. They would be sitting in jail or the hospital.

Bwhahahahah, must be some higher ups in Isola watching the polls. Here in Shelby they check you for knives and dice.

Just talked to a buddy he voted with his on. No state law against it. Rob are you a member of the PBA? Did you get the name of the person who denied your right to vote?

A person with a concealed weapons permit can not wear it to a poling place. An officer on duty has the right to wear the his duty weapon..

There is none. I was in uniform voting back in the summer. We have been asked to leave our duty weapons in the car when we respond to the North MS Behavioral Health facility for calls for service because they have a "no gun" policy. They quickly learned that's not an option! I've had a few people to ask me to leave it in the car when I attend church while on duty. They too were told NO!

The only reason I took it off is because the chief of police asked me to. I will be going back tonight getting a name.

Sounds like gun control run amuck.

Here's an idea, let's repeal all gun control laws everywhere. They only affect law abiding citizens anyway. If you want to use an RPG for home defense, go for it. That'll show the left-wing, pinko-commie, &%@$!#?&%!!!
