New push of birds

Postby H20fowlkiller » Wed Oct 05, 2011 4:47 pm

Following the little north wind this past weekend I have seen a drastic jump in the number of birds in the Venice area. Has anyone started seeing birds following that little front that came thru

I saw about a dozen gadwall at Lokafoma lake Monday. All I can figure is they are the smartest 12 gadwall on the continent.

About 150 snows flew over this afternoon. Anytime we get a group in east central ms before the squirrel opener is a good omen from the duck gods.

Around 10 groups of snows and 4 our 5 groups of specks flew over this morning while we were hunting the squirrel opener in the Noxubee Refuge area.
