Try Bigwater's Guide Service. It will be the most exciting hunt you will ever go on. The morning begins by meeting your guide, Bigwater, at Homer's BBQ at 3:30 a.m. where you will enjoy a continental breakfast of pork cracklins and Budwieser. After breakfast it is a short drive from Jackson to Silver City with guide. Note....This is the fun part. Bigwater doesn't have a 4 wheeler so all hunters get a little exercise before the hunt. Its only a 3/4 mile hike through a muddy bean to the wood line. Once you get there you will see a bunch of posted signs. Don't pay any attention to them, Bigwater says he has permission to hunt there from his cousins best friends uncles brother in law. Regardless if you kill any ducks the trip itself is worth it. If you would like more info contact Bigwater himself. You want regret it. Or.....you could just save your money, stay close to home and hunt Santee Cooper instead.

I do not know of any guides in Ms that have what I call sho nuff flooded timber. I think you would have to check out services in the South Delta of Mississippi.

If you hunt Santee, try some of the slews down around cathead landing just south of santee. just watch for gators in the early season.
If the birds are flying great, but if not, enjoy the time; at least you're not at work.

Silver City??? Hehe, that's where I spent the first 20 years of my life.

DD is right...not alot of huntable trees around here anymore...they were all made into houses 50 years ago.
