Postby judge jb » Wed Dec 12, 2001 4:53 pm

i have a coleman rechargeable flouresant lantern that has went on the blink. tubes i assume are good. i let it run down last weekend and it has not worked since... tried another charger to no avail. question is, if i have a charger plugged in would i get any lite if it were a weak battery? maybe a stupid question, but rather ask one than go to ordering parts i don't need...

I had one of those and sold it in a garage sale. I hated it for the same reasons. I guess I never tried to fix it. I was used to the real Coleman Lantern and this just didn't live up to my expectations. Good luck fixin' yours.

Judge---you can get twelve volt light bulbs to use in the shack. Better lite than the coleman. Use a twelve volt marine battery for juice.
