Don't ask, don't tell!
Don't ask, don't tell!
Anybody as sick of hearing about this sh*t as I am. I didn't check my email all day yesterday because the first time I did the big picture on AOL was 2 dudes kissing. Still can't get the image out of my head!

I personally don't care if two dudes wanna ream each other out like that, as long as the media wouldn't jam it in our face every chance they get.. Likewise I don't wanna see some old dude making out with his hot young girl friend while I'm trying to eat dinner in a restaurant .
Keep what you wanna do while in the bedroom, in the bedroom and everything will be fine with me.

Re: Don't ask, don't tell!
I don't care if you are a good soldier or not! This crap ain't natural! I wasn't raised to accept this perversion as being natural or normal! My Bible says it ain't right. Now, Imagine being in the military and having to shower together. Never knowing if this "known" queer booty sumbiotch checking out my johnson and booty... And knowing it's totally legal for them to do so; just don't set to well with me... Now, don't get me wrong; I'm comfortable with myself, but, i "DON'T" want the gay booty faggot trying to get comforable with myself...
I liked not knowing for the most part who was one. Sure we've always had em and you could kinda tell who was one; but now, there's not a damn thing we can do about it... Screw dis' perverse shiat. Talk about a kick in morale's nutz!
We as a country have been booty raped!

It's gonna be in the media until the next big thing comes around. It's not like gays didn't already serve. The ones that got kicked out of the military are the ones that made sure everyone knew they was gay and made a big deal about it. The problem isn't going to be serving beside a gay member. The problem is going to be housing. Are they going to put a gay member and a straight member in the same barracks room? Some people may not care, I would not personnally want to share a room with a gay guy. Not that I'm afraid he will give me the ol' chloroform napkin, but it would be uncomfortable living arrangements. Now what about showers and bathrooms. On base in the U.S. may not be to big a problem. While deployed your showers are in a tent or in a trailor. They are usually not open and have a shower curtain or walls up but what about getting undressed and dressed. Just like straight people gays are not attracted to everybody but do you want to question this every time you get undressed. So, if I have to take a shower with a gay guy that may be attracted to me is it not fair that I get to shower with the big titty blonde girl also. Why seperate men and women? Sexual harassment charges are going to be going up in the military. Sadly the white straight male is minority. You gotta love this PC world we are in now.

Leviticus 18:22. All I got to say about that.
Re: Don't ask, don't tell!
Wow, guess I'm gonna get slayed for saying this (based on the responses above...) but I personally don't give a $#!+ if someone's a gay or not if they want to fight and die for our country.

Nah, you're entitled. But I will say because I was in the Army that I could see it being an unnecessary distraction. I dont agree with it AT ALL.
Re: Don't ask, don't tell!
Everyone has their own thoughts on the matter. Not gonna call you names on the internet for it. I said I don't have a problem serving beside a gay man/woman. That's not going to be the problem. The problem will be falling alot on housing. Barracks are shared by men and women but you do not share a bathroom/shower. That is where I think will be some of the biggest issues. Fighting for our country is a different issue all together.Beaudog1 wrote:Wow, guess I'm gonna get slayed for saying this (based on the responses above...) but I personally don't give a *!@#@* if someone's a gay or not if they want to fight and die for our country.
Re: Don't ask, don't tell!
DADT was ignorant to begin with but with so many people thinking that being gay is "wrong" I guess the military had to do what it needed to do. I've got no problem with that. Serve our country - thank you.
No, i don't want to know you ---- teul

It's not people saying it's wrong, the Bible says it's wrong. You know, that book we are supposed to live by?

Re: Don't ask, don't tell!
The military is not a social experiment. Treating it like one is going to get people killed, but I guess most politicos don't really care about that as long as it doesn't hit too close to home or cause them to lose votes. But honestly, the world's screwed up to begin with. This probably doesn't even cause a blip on the radar of the screw up machine. Still, in case it wasn't clear enough, I do not agree with the decision and second what davidees said.
