did you buy that green one in Yazoo city? I wanted to go look at it and it seemed like a good deal.

I like Furr Transmission in North East Jackson off of Ridgewood. Very nice people and they got me in and out quick.

Do yourself a favor and buy a used transmission that is already in good order. You can get one for $400-$600 and pay about $200 to have it installed. I just had a transmission rebuilt for my truck and it lasted all of 5 months before it started leaking transmission fluid and slipping again. Guy "did me a favor" and charged me $1000 to rebuild. I sold the truck to our farm mechanic he said the best thing you can do is buy a used transmission from a legit shop and have it installed. Just a thought.

I'll find the number of the guy that did mine last year. He's in Bovina. $1200 with a 2 year warranty. All I did was get my truck to him.
