dr2 i made a mistake in an earlier post when i said that u were one of the five most accomplished duck hunters on this site. i should have said that u are the most accomplished duck hunter on this site; oh yea goose hunter as well.

thats a beautiful group of birds that u have on display.

one more thing there dr2... thats a nice crib you have there... why dont the next time we have a get together lets do at your place. that is if you can get all those ole houn dawgs to turn their lustful eyes away from those pretty little doe's up at ovpc..

hell we could have a big ole time we could all bring a dish and drinks. u could have the floor and tell us great stories of your obvious world travels .

of course you'd have to clear that with the ole lady.
it might not fly over to well when you tell your wife that approx 30-40 duck hunters will be coming over to the house . she might hemmorage.

anyway those are beautiful mounts.

later
and as always
good hunting

Thanks bigwater, but bird mounts or not i ain't worthy to tote decoys for many of the other waterfowlers i know that frequent MSDucks, especially the ones that were killing ducks and or serving in the military when i'd accomplished little more than being born. So maybe i got carried away with the digital camera. And you are correct in one thing: if i ever convince my wife to let me host a get together for 30 or 40 duck hunters at her home, especially this bunch that i am a part of, then and only then might i have accomplished something, but living alone in the dog house is nothing to brag about either! The chances of that happening are about the same as GH22 scoring at OVP :D

Naw man, it is a snow goose but it's what they call an interphase (from blue and white cross breeding). No telling how old that bird was to be in such condition. Got a buddy from OH been trying to get a good interphase forever. What I really want to luck up and get is a blue phase Ross' goose (odds about 1 in 500,000), better yet a banded one!
