I agree with the drop zone is a POS as far as i'm concerned. Hard to tune. I am however very impressed with the Rip-cord code red. A little spendy but worth the boot in my opinion.

Does a fall away rest tighten your groups up that much? I am a simpleton when it comes to bow hunting and I hate moving parts. I am still shooting the ole biscuit on my DXT but here lately I have been thinking about switching to a drop away rest.

It will tighten your groups up for sure vick but i just like the fact there is no speed loss
because there is no friction with a drop away

Vickers I always shot the whisker biscuit until I bought the Z7. To be honest, they shoot the same to me but I wasn't shooting long shots or shots past 40 when i had the DXT either. I can put them in a solo drink cup at 60 yards with this new bow and the QAD. I never attempted that before.

What is it you hate about them functionality or working on them

Noisy, poorly made, don't tune well, don't stay tuned...generally, just not a good product in my experience...

example, if you just bowhunt October to extend your season...shoot your bow week before season to make sure your hunt ready, shoot expandables for convenience and don't worry much about it if it's not noticeably a problem (not that there is anything wrong with that description, but there are differing types of bowhunters or archers) then you probably be ok with it....If you are more of a serious archer that shoots alot and bowhunts alot and is a more of a stickler for having things in order, you will throw it away in a year...

My basic opinion of fall away rest, if you aren't gonna be a real stickler for your rest and tuning and compatibility, then shoot a bisquit and save the headache...it's been my overall opinion that almost everytime someone makes a decision to solve an archery issue based on cost, it doesn't solve the issue...that's just my take...
