everyone has their own idea on how to do it but here is one of them....take some rough sandpaper and rough up the puncture or dry rot....clean it and use LaCrosse, Hodgman, etc wader repair and let it sit on a level place for a day. make sure to get the glue inside of the puncture and out and then a puddle of it on the outside and smear around outward smooth....I have had repairs last for years. If you have a lot of holes and need to go cheap....buy Shoe Goo? shoe repair in the red tube I think it is from Walmart....it works close to the same. I bought a pair of waders once and had the boots cracked and leaking in first season...must have been an old pair sitting in a storage bin outside when I bought them hah! hope this helps

Liquid electrical tape also works. Patch it the same way.
