Nice, just regular modified choke? Have you ever test the improved cylinder? I'm gonna try that with my SBE II

3 inch #3's are my shell of choice as well, but I'm shooting black clouds. Probably not much of a difference

Light Mod performed the best for me shooting BC/HM in a SBEII and Vinci....

im going to pattern 2 more loads and 2 chokes .

Winchester Blind side 3" #2 with Modified choke and the patternmaster blind side choke medium range

Black cloud High Velocity 3" #3 with modified choke and Kicks Vortex Modified

then imma choose which load to purchase 4 cases for duck season

then we could see which patterns the best by company Federal, Winchester, and Hevi-Metal

Did anyone shoot Carlson's Black Cloud mid-range choke this past season? Thinking about getting one.

I too shoot an Extrema2 and get better patterns than those with plain old blue box Federal 3" #3's. I patterned some Hevi-Metal as well but was not impressed.......especially for the price difference.
