Re: Polaris Ranger
so far we have a total of 21 people that own a polaris ranger and of the 21 six of them have had problems (if my count is right
)
Most common problem noted is belts (2) and the fuel pump (2). Other problems mentioned were computer modulator, front axle, and tire rod.

I have 3. One regular, one crew, and one electric. Only had to replace 2 belts on the regular one. I believe it is an 05 model if I remember correctly. First one was my fault. Those things dont last long when you power brake 'em.

Re: Polaris Ranger
I wish they would have come out with them sooner. They have plenty of power and torque, and will tow a load. Has good speed and range in high gear, also has low gear, and mid range gear for maximum distance. They say it will go 50 miles in mid range. I have used mine alot, and it has never gone dead on me. Just charge after every use and it stays ready to go. They did their homework on the electric model.

Are we gonna get wet?
Re: Polaris Ranger
Have 1 also. Have replaced 2 belts. Started reading on the prcforum.com(this site will tell you pretty much whatever you want to know) and found out that on the 2007 ranger xp700(which is what i have)that there was a defective motor mount problem with a bunch of them. The motor mount was popping in half causing the motor to flex and breaking the belt. I went to the NAPA store and bought a ford falcon transmission mount(read about it on the prcforum) and used it to replace the bad motor mount. 2 years later and no more belt problems yet. Other than that no complaints out of mine

Re: Polaris Ranger
I have not noticed a whine in mine, no more than the whine of my golf cart. I sneek up on deer all the time on mine in broad daylight. They dont seem to hear me coming, and are startled when I get right up on them.
