2 part question

Postby DanielsUC » Mon Jul 25, 2011 5:59 pm

Is there any type of seed that you can spread in a brackish water marsh area that would survive? I am wondering if there is anything I can broadcast in the marsh grass that will produce food for the ducks. Second but more important would it be legal to do this? One of the spots I hunt is in southeast Louisiana which is where I am considering this for.

It might help if you post this in the Habitat Forum. There are some very knowledgeable guys over there.

Nothing will grow well in salt water.

However I have had great success with corn and milo, the milo isn't as good for the ducks but the GW can't see it from the air.
