Best Price & Service on Rangers
I know this probably pops up every few months as a post...couldn't find it exactly with a search...therefore, sorry if I should know this.
What dealership has the best price and service relative to Polaris Rangers within 200 miles of Jackson? Thanks.

Re: Best Price & Service on Rangers
The best price i found was Aberthany Yamaha/Polaris in Union City,Tn. but it was only by 400 bucks. I bought mine from Billy Perkins with Perkins Polaris in Pascagoula. They are great people and will do you right.

We searched hard because there were about 10 of us about to buy them over a year or two period of time. The best prices we could find were Hamilton, Alabama (motorsportssupersore.com) and then one outside little rock, ar. I know Hamilton will even deliver to you with no tax. Tried Union city and they were a few hundred more.

You will still have to pay the taxes! It may take a while but that will come back to bite you in the booty! What's wrong with buying localy? Time you run all over the place shopping you haven't saved anything! Not to mention just 1 or 2 warrenty trips and you could have paid 5 to 700 bucks more at home and still saved money!Deltaquack wrote:We searched hard because there were about 10 of us about to buy them over a year or two period of time. I've bought 2 from Billy Shinn at Magnolia Supply in Vicksburg. He's about as good as anywhere else! You can't save any money driving 200 miles away to buy anything like that!

If you're buying in the immediate future, Hattiesburg Cycle is having a sale on the base Ranger 800xp til the end of the month. $9700 I think. Normally 11,250.
Must be trying to unload the 2011's or something. Thats the lowest I've seen them.

Hamilton, AL. We may have to pay taxes one day.....but I don't know of anyone in Tupelo that has had to pay them yet....and that is where everyone up here buys theirs.
Did I kill that duck?...well yeah.

You've posted this 3 or 4 times and I've told you different each time........I personally walked into the tax accessors office at the courthouse with my bill of sale to file for a title and they did not make me pay taxes b/c it was purchased in Alabama and was not a road ready automobile.BR549 wrote:You will still have to pay the taxes! Maybe that's because the Tax Assessor doesn't collect use tax (??). Maybe they only handle registrations and that's how taxes are collected on registered items. Honestly, not sure.

In short, if you don't have big-ticket items shipped to you from out-of-state and if there isn't a info-sharing agreement between MS and the other state, you are probably not going to get caught. However, you still owe the 7% tax on it.

That is correct! It is your resposibility to report it. They have to report that it was an out of state sale and therefore no taxes were ever collected on it in their state. Sooner or later it will be traced back to you. Ask the former owners of Big River Honda!stang67 wrote:Maybe that's because the Tax Assessor doesn't collect use tax (??). Road and Track in Brookhaven is where I bought mine. Jimbo is a great guy to deal with. He will match or beat any price out there.
