Where can I get the most accurate weather info?

Steel shot and I were discussing earlier today that the people on the weather channel are idiots. As of right now I can look at 4 differnet weather sources for the same zip code and none of them are the same. Accu-weather and the weather channel are 17 degrees apart on the low temp for the weekend. As of the last 3 weekends I have kept a running record and the weather channel has missed the low or high anywhere from 10 to 20 degrees. What is the most accurat sight. Not the local weather because they dont predict far enough ahead. I need a good place to check the extended forecast and be able to depend on it with a small bit of consistency.

Xpress If you know somebody with a DTN or a weather radio they are pretty accurate. They both use NOAA weather. The DTN is you most accurate though. If you don't know anybody with one go to your local John Deere dealer or you local farm supply they will probably have one.

go to long range weather. then scroll down to the MS state forcast. it pretty close every time. Damnit (cussed you again) [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

Here's what I like:

It's text, and very quick to load. Go to the state data. Select your state, and click on the zone forcast. This is the national weather service bulletin, if you listen real close while reading it, you can hear that computer generated script reader.

I like http://www.intellicast.com you can look under radar and then under radar loop and see the rain/snow/whatever tracking for the past few hours. You can zoom in on a particular section such as north Mississippi and see where what storm is and which county it is crossing at the moment. [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

The Weather Underground is pretty good on forecast. www.wunderground.com

I also use intellicast for radar and rainfall totals.

Xpress ~ I sent you something to you yahoo e mail account, you might find it very interesting. Its called the weatherbug and I use it a good bit. Really cool and has been really reliable so far.
