lived in mccomb all of my life until a year ago....

not much to do in those parts other than eat and get pissed off at all the reggins out and about. hammond and hattiesburg is where you'll have to go to find things to do in the city. percy quinn state park is a small lake but its a good lake to fish caught a many of crappie bass and catfish out of there over the years. Also, lake walthall in tylertown is another good fishin hole.

new eatin joint just opened up in fernwood call Chilly Willy's. it's perty good eats, and bar scene at night with kareoke and all that good stuff. I won't be there but if i was i could put you on some hogs to spot and stalk.

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day
and THAT is a duck hunt.

A number of years ago i got stuck in the McComb comfort inn for several months working. I'd hit up percy quinn, new orleans, and the bar at the old hotel across the street from the comfort inn. I cant remember what flag it was, maybe a days or a ramada? There was also a cajun restaurant in mccomb that was pretty good, cant remember the name, a dude from new york owned it. Cafe something or another. Anyhow, all i got.

Good deal thanks for the info fellas.

I went in the Tylertown Sportscenter, not a bad little operation; they had a nice A5 but they were wanting a tad too much for it.

My and my girlfriend went to Hattiesburg tonight to eat at Crescent City and stopped by Gander Mountain, and I was pleasantly surprised at the selection of shotguns. Guy actually tried to sell me on 870's that is a change of things. Service wasn't too bad, but they were slow.

While you are in McComb you need to eat at the Dinner Bell for lunch, But don't plan anything after lunch. You will be stuffed and want to take a nap.
