this is what the family wants to get dad for fathers day. i don't do the whole game camera thing so i really don't know much about them, other than what you see on tv, which don't mean squat to me.
price range 150ish no more than 200.
his current camera has infared and he wants that on his new one. other than that its just whatever. i'm tired of reading reveiws on these things so i figured you guys could give some input. thanks in advance

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day
Re: game cameras
my truthcam 60 was nice, until somebody cut the cable lock, now it is somebody else's nice cam. there's a new truthcam that you can't see the infrared bank of lights go off (human or animal), but may be out of price range.
Experience is a freakin' awesome teacher...

Re: game cameras
bushnell Trophy cam or scoutguard - i've got 2 scoutguards and 4 bushnell trophy cams. no problems to date and they are all 2+ years old.
Re: game cameras
+1 on the Bushnell and scoutguard. If I'm not mistaken they use the same camera and they are in ur price range

Re: game cameras
I only have experience with moultrie, cuddeback, and reconyx. DO NOT get a moultrie, even if it's free. Cuddeback's are pretty good. The reconyx have been the best of the 3 but they're expensive, or at least they used to be. I haven't looked at them lately.
Re: game cameras
I would say bushnell, primos, moultrie. I would also get a newer model with time lapse. Cuddeback's have the best trigger speed but lack picture quality to me and there new attack is 229 so a little out of the range you were looking at.

Re: game cameras
customer service for them is the worst i've ever dealt with. good cameras and awesome pictures but if you have a problem then you are screwed.
