They have made it 32 times IN A ROW! I know that sounds amazing but it is a fact. I think that Florida State has been like 21 times IN A ROW! It is a little unfair though because there is so much talent in Florida that they could proibably put a competitive MLB ball team together if they had to!

Good luck to all the teams in the CWS Super Regionals, except Arkansas of course :)

GO NOLES!!!!

Just a friendly reminder that the Ole Miss/Miss State debate is a little like Texans arguing with Californians about whose state is the biggest in the country - neither are willing to consider the possibility of the answer being Alaska.

IMO (and I've played some baseball in my day)....UM, MSU, and USM seemed pretty evenly matched this year. All three had good seasons, but none better than the National Champion DSU Statesmen - they executed when it counted.

GO EAGLES!

Woooohoooo!!!!! My Dawgs are going to Omaha!!!!! We should have a chance at seeing an SEC team take it all, looks like South Carolina might be coming along, and maybe LSU and Arkansas!!!! Could be a banner year for the SEC!!!

Hey, Gordon...how 'bout them Dogs! There are three kids on the team who were at South Gwinnett H.S. when I was principal there. Joe Side has been the Man as a freshman this year! All I can say is UGA ought to be recruiting more at South Gwinnett. We gave them David Green and Joe Side! Hope they do well now that my Dawgs are out of it.

Southern Miss? So which is it Greenhead 22 are you a State fan or just an Ole Miss hater? Seems like your allegiance moves all over the place as long as you can smack Ole Miss...Is hating Ole Miss the general reason for your being? Can you go a day without smacking Ole Miss? If not, you might be a good candidate for an intervention...What I am saying is that you might need some counseling to deal with your "hate Ole Miss" complex....Let me know and I can refer you to some of my Ole Miss alum buddies down at UMC.

Well......this is how it is.........

A die hard State fan hates Ole Miss with a passion.......
A die hard UM fan hates State with a passion.........

I have never rooted for Ole Miss in anyway, shape, or form.........and never will.......just like the majority of ole miss fans towards msu.

Watched this thread for awhile and thought I would put my two cents in. I love the Diamond Dogs, but this year we were off. Thought we played pretty good at the end of the season, but not a typical State team. I thought Ole Miss was one of the top ten teams in the nation until they started that "road to Omaha" mess. Seems they jinx theirselves and the "doubt" starts creeping back in. Their is a certain swagger you earn and develop when the pressure is on and ,proven again, Ole miss does not have it. I thought USM had the most talent. I think DSU deserves the praise. If you had all four in a round robin tournament, who would you pick if your bank account depended on it?
Are we gonna get wet?

This is coming from a MSU alum, but DSU has got a pretty tough team. It's hard to compare DIV II ball to DIV 1-A though.

:( I also have a confession to make.....I actually felt sorry for Ole Miss for the first time in my life this last year. I actually found myself hoping they would score (last basketball game of the season). Harper got busted in the mouth and I think Reed had a hurt leg and neither one of them could hit jack. I hated to see two such talented atheletes have such a bad last game of their college careers.

Maybe I need to seek counseling.....this MSU guy rooting for Ole Miss stuff ain't normal.

I just had to get it off my chest.....
