Some beautiful equipment. I guess y'all have some cropland around there, or are those food plot toys?

Nice! Waiting on a rain so I can plant mine. Gonna put some Eagle Large Lads and Hornbeck Monarchs side by side and test em.

We got a 1/4" last Thursday. i havent looked first hand, but a my buddy said they were popping out of the ground. I sure hope it rains soon.

i've got three more spots ready and waiting on some moisture. Will probably have to invest in some plot saver kits this year.

If you are waiting on a rain to plant then it may be awhile. Next 15 days looks dry and hot. Did I mention it was going to be hot? We will need something to move that H off of us.
Are we gonna get wet?

better break out the roller and cross your fingers in hopes of more than a light shower when it does finally rain!

I know. Looks like what's planted will be struggling and the rest might not get planted.

Going by his location in Forrest, I would assume he borrowed it from the Scott County NRCS office. Number is 601-469-3464. If I'm wrong he'll correct me.

That would bit it.

The drill is $20 an acre i think.

but if you did like me, and try to pull it through a ditch with your truck you could break your front drive shaft and bend the rear axle of you truck. so i can be alittle more expensive.

Also checked the beans on wed. they are up 3-4" we need a rain in a bad way.

That would be a little far for me to drag it...I sure do want one, need to hit the lottery....I planted about two acres of RR corn Saturday with an old JD single row planter. It does a great job, but its slow going. I cant imagine planting soybeans with the corn planter....I did broadcast about 400 lbs of rice on one duck hole and flooded it, should be rolling soon....
