That's ok, maybe we'll cross paths again sometime.

What were you busy doing? My other half ran Retta in Master A, Dog 18. He said it was funny to travel that far and run under a Texas judge and the Tennessee one apprenticed under us years ago. He did get a chance to visit for a bit with Brian Lewis, who he judged with at Magnolia several years back.

My golden liked your test Sat. I enjoyed getting to talk to you and your husband for a few minutes.

Judged the Qualifying with Bobby, then ran Master B under Brian and Brant.

Ah HA! that is who you are. We watched a couple of dogs run your double blind on Friday. We don't do FTs with our dogs but Dave really wanted to get Retta out to try those blinds. We regularly run very similar blinds when we train. I heard nothing but good things about your tests.

And I liked your Golden, too. She is something else!

That golden had a lot of fire. Was fun to watch her! She and Clay's dog were my favorites on Sunday. Clay's dog's tail was going in wide circles the entire time he was swimming (almost like he had a built in go-devil onboard).

Thanks for the nice words about Splash. We enjoyed the weekend very much. The grounds were great as were the judges and the tests they set up. We are looking forward to many more AKC retriever hunt tests in the future. Currently there are only four owners running five AWS in AKC retriever hunt tests. Three now in senior and two in master. There will be more, I'm sure, in the future. We just became eligible to run them April 1st.
