Seriously though... We use Havard pest control out of Hattiesburg but they have a central ms office as well. I pay 85 a 1/4 for bugs then i have a separate termite contract through them.

This is who I use and they are great....they provide free transfer of contract and free inspection report when and if you sell your home.

i had mine done in november, after buying the house in september. turns out a termite inspection is good for 30days. i think i shafted. terminix did ours for around 1000 with a guarantee, if they come back they retreat @ no cost to us. we also signed up for for yearly inspect.

they treated it with fipronil, same as termidor, icon, and others. its death on invertebrates, so i will kill crawfish too. if they just around our fence and stuff use a heavy dose of lorsban. remove all wood touching the house and foundation. we had two stumps dug up near house and previous owner had bark mulch all around the house in the flowers.

Most are around 900 for intial inspection and guarantee then around 175 annually for inspection or treatment. They charge us an additional 45 a quarter for insect/rodant spraying.

I use Terminix. Initial inspection & treatment was $800 with guarantee & replacement. Yearly inspection & renewal is $200

Do you think the yearly inspection and renewal is worth the cost compared to the what the first inspection and treatment costs?

Thanks for the info guys. It help me know what to expect.
