ouch, I had a hernia repaired when I was 18 (27 now). It was pretty painful but I've heard that the procedure is a lot less invasive now. Good luck and prayers for a quick recovery. -semper

prayers sent for a speedy recovery...the dad was miserable after that for a coupla weeks...think they put a mesh pad in there...atleast it aint huntin' season brotha
