Golf and turkey hunting should be illegal. Both make me curse and throw stuff, but yet I keep going back for more.

I'd agree with that. Also, next time you're on the range, try dropping your right foot back (assuming you're right handed) and slightly shutting your body to the target. Stay down through the swing and make a full turn towards the target. The key is to bring the club back to the ball on an inside track. Try to visualize hitting the corner of the ball that's closest to your feet. Remember, the further you aim left, the more the ball is going to slice.

You may need to work on your grip, most of the time where the problem all lies. Put the club in your fingers on your left hand and then wrap your hand around the club. Turn your left hand a little more over and on the swing, keep your left arm untense and really feel your shoulders and hips turn on the swing

Ok first thing DO NOT go out and try all of the different things people have mentioned on here. You will completely screw your swing up. Not saying these things dont work but you don't know which one you need to do and if you go through trying them all you will be worse than when you started. Best thing would be get a lesson from a pro.

Re: Medicus?
I appreciate all the help guys. I think I'll let a pro give it a shot first. I just can't wait to see how much an hour with him is going to be

Doesn't matter what he charges you, it's going to be COMPLETELY wasted if you don't practice. You have to retrain your muscle memory so you not only stop doing what causes your slice, you'll stop doing it in times of stress (during a round, 18th tee with $100 on the line and water right, etc.) Honestly, a slice is the second hardest shot in golf to get rid of. It's so easy to revert back to and most slicers get frustrated and stop practicing after they think they've cured it. And no, I won't mention the unmentionable first hardest shot to get rid of. I'd never curse anyone like that...

Used to slice it frequently, still do from time to time. One of two things was always occurring- face was open at impact or path was outside in. More often than not the face was open at address because of a lazy grip.
Hell I'd get a large bucket at the range and just try to hook the ball before I went for a lesson.

Our local pro is 40 a half hour. Half hour is plenty at one time. No matter how good you are a refresher with a pro is always good. Let him give you something to work on then work on it over a week or two at the range. Another option would be look for a Taylor made R9 or something that you can switch the settings on top of a lesson. I have found that some drivers I just fight a slice and I draw the ball. I bet you can pick one up on ebay for pretty cheap since R11 are out. Closing the face will help to a point.

Greatest marketing scheme I've ever seen. Wish I thought of it. I'd be rich for sure.
A local pro will help you more than any suggestion on this board. It's not a onetime fix. You'll need practice and a few follow up lessons to ensure you are progressing with the changes.
