I HATE turkeys

Have not heard a bird gobbling right this year yet. That is all.

Same here....I have yet to "sit down" to fool with a specific gobbling bird this year. A small amount of gobbling on the roost and thats all.

I had one gobbling all morning opening morning only to come in to about 60 and hang up. I have not heard one since. :evil:

had one gobble 249 times opening weekend from the tree til 12. got about 70 yrds and hung up. finally about the time we made our move he decided to do the same and we met head on and couldnt do anything

Well this weekend surely didn't help the pain any. 5 gobbles. Weak weak weak.

I thought this weather would be bad on em but this morning I had 3 going nuts on the roost. Even saw 2 fly down away from me of course ( dang hens ) and all went Lock jaw on the ground. This is the most gobbling I've heard yet. Maybe they will heat up soon. At least I know where they are now.

Glad to hear that we are not the only ones with tight lipped birds.

I hope this cold snap has not made it worse... :?
