Mine is very high maintenance and doesn't seem to have much better of a nose than his master. I love him to death, though. He's the perfect pet for me.

Boykin Spaniel!! I have had many high quality labs but I have never had a better dog than a Boykin. They are one of the purest bred dogs in the US. The Boykin Spaniel Society is very strict on their breedings so the chance of getting a great dog are very high. My Boykin duck hunts and has recovered numerous deer. They have an excellent nose and are an absolute pleasure as a family dog. They get between 30-40 pounds and are not bad shedders like a lab. If you need more info pm and I will get you in touch with some breeders. I can assure you that you will be hard pressed to find a better dog!!!
