Maybe it was the cheap bag. As I said, we've never had that problem.

GOOD LUCK to all of us on filling those duck straps next season. My strap didn't have much of a workout in 2010/11.

Mineral oil will dissolve a plastic zip lock bag...

BS, that's why they use it on babies. Won't dissolve anything plastic as that's what kind of containers it comes in!!, especially a good bag that seals well. Might want to quit buying yours at the dollar store.

Mineral oil can dissolve a plastic sandwich bag depending on what the bag is made with. If it contains hexane which is a six carbon non-polar substance. Mineral oil is a non-polar substance. Like dissolves like which is why the bag will dissolve.

That is why you see warnings on condoms not to use mineral oil because it destroys the latex which is made with hexane. My bet is the sandwich bag stockbroker was using contained hexane.

We now return to "The Duckstrap" post.

It would be nice to get the strap that I was promised like 6 months ago...........................

Well...I think there is some confusion...you've gotta go duck hunting to need a duck strap........

nope, no BS here.
Dont know what your babies were made of, but mine were not plastic.

And it damn sure will dissolve a gallon freezer bag from Wal-Mart.
Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.
