So have you found a tube that works well with the hevi13 in your Beretta (Extrema?). With all the different tube, gun, shell combinations, it is a pretty challenging to find a starting point. Have any of you Extrema owners found that outstanding combination? Been shooting the hevi13 #6 out of the factory tube but looking to tighten it up a bit.
Never mind. Just saw your previous post -using a jh.

Go to Nitro's website and get whatever choke & shells they recommend for your gun. They are pricey but you'll thank me later.

I shoot a Benelli Nova 28'' barrel with a Jellyhead and 3 1/2 Hevi-Shot Magnum Blends and turkeys beware. 60 yard hung up tom better not show his head.

have three SBE's with forcing cones lengthened and one beretta O/U(three sons and myself) and been tinkering with Nitros and Hevi-shot for last couple of years. Rhino Ok in one gun but Indian Creek is unreal in all guns with Nitro. Also tried Indian Creek for ducks and it was real good with Hevi-Metal

Are nitro's that much better than hevi-13? I mean they are almost 12 dollars higher a box than hevi-shot.

Dead is dead....and they can be dead with most anything.....I shoot the JH in my 870 with 3" 4x5x7......no real advantage in the 3.5 hype for turkeys or ducks IMO
My name is Rick Daughtry.......

Well, I had a lot of money, but to the city went

+1 on the Trulock, great choke tubes. That is what I use in my red label also.

The extra full in the bottom barrel makes a great pattern at 35 yards with 3in, #6 Hevi-shot.

I just got the 11-87 turkey model. His name is tommy is you were wondering, short for tominator.

Here is what he did at 30 yards with the nitros (4x5x7's i believe) I already had for my Super X2. .665 jelly head choke. 317 pellets in a 8" paper plate.

So yes the nitros are worth it.

Man, you can not name a gun till you have killed with it.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

How do you know I haven't killed one with it yet?
