I've used Turbotax online for 7 or 8 years. You can get discounts off the price from various websites you may use. ex..regions, state farm, vanguard (which is my 401k website).

I've always been pleased. Pretty easy to do, just answer the questions and it retains your returns from year to year.

Barlow, Walker, and Co, CPA's in Brandon. Ken Walker does mine. W2 with long form, sched a deds. Fed and State . >$300 last year. E-filed and best thing, will go to audit with me if we have too but he is honest guy! One guy at work says you have to find a CPA that has done a little time. They'll take risk!!!!!

When I was single I used H&R Block online. Now that I'm married and have my vinyl shop and have all kinds of other forms, I go in person to H&R Block and see the same lady my parents have used for 30+ years.

My bill is usually around $150 to $200 (discounted), but I walk in with a stack of papers.

+1 on Turbotax

Covers every deduction out there.

Used it for years with no trouble.

yes, it even has deductions for when you take a crap. I have used it for 4 years and I wrote off my moving expenses when I moved to Jackson.

that just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. What about moving expenses for job transfer...healthcare costs....etc. Is there sufficient information on Turbo Tax to take advantage of such deductions??? I've paid plenty of taxes in my day so i'm not ashamed to get out of paying them now....legally of course.
