I have been to the Boar Den and I would not go back. All the turkeys where across the property lines/fences. When we got there none of their feeders had any corn in them and all the neighbors did. It was a pretty good challenge to call a turkey across a fence when the other side had food and hens. Just my .02

Re: Best Tx turkey spot? Or Kansas?
i went to the Boars Den 2 years ago. they are great down home folks that will treat you good but they dont have a clue how to hunt turkeys, which is fine if you are an experienced turkey hunter but if you want in your lap fully guided hunt then look elsewhere. i would consider going back as they treated me and my boy really good and the price was very fair. we doubled on long beards on the last day with one hour left in the hunt. we hunted the last week of the season and it made it extremely tough as the birds were very shy and didnt want to dance the dance which is not what rios normally do. I would go to Ok if it were me as I hear the guys up there are covered in birds. Give getducks a call they have a good place from what i hear.
heres a pic from the boars den......
