YBL Downtown Jackson Guys

We have a YBL group that meets from 12-1 on Tuesdays. It's a good group of a few guys and would like to have anyone intersted to come join us. Shoot me a pm.

Guys, you can not find a better way to spend your lunch once a week. We do ours on Wednesdays and I look so forward to it. Take Cory up on his invitation and at least visit once.

What is YBL? I have not heard of this, I dont think.

YBL is a Christian based organazation that operates in AL and MS. The MS YBL is made up of several " splinter" groups of men mostly in central MS, who meet weekly in small groups. Not sure if you heard about it, but Danny Weurfull recently spoke at the YBL banquet in Jackson.

There are a few others on this site, such as Matador 1, who is in another "splinter" group that meets near Pear Orchard in Rankin Co. The down town (Jackson) group is a "splinter" group that meets every Tuesday at 12. It varies from week to week, but we mostly have anywhere between 4-8 people in our group. We are currently studying Measure of a Man by Gene Getz. Typically, we meet in the Heritage building but we also may meet in the Trustmark Cafeteria. It is a good group, and most people bring a lunch (or we order) and try to end the meeting each week before 1. Let me know if you have any other questions or if you would like to drop in.

Thanks very much, so its kinda like a mens prayer or worship group? I would like to start something like that down in our area.
