Alright...Time to Rate the Season (2010-11)

10 mainly because I got my second federal band in 30 years of hunting, on a Speck from Nanavut Canada. We also had a record number killed on our property this year. I got a nice bull Sprig and learned that Spoonies ain't all that bad. Spent time with some old friends and the dog had a blast. Huck learned more this year than I could teach him in two years.

Season started off slow for me and didn't have water in the public spots I usually hunt. Around mid season things turned around and was able to get some pretty solid hunts in this year. Enjoyed getting to hunt and spend time with old friends as well as, meeting some new faces and shooting ducks with them.

Every duck season is a 10 in my book. didn't get to hunt much until about christmas but still had a blast

ill give it a 10. first full season with my dog, killled over 100 more birds than i did last year mostly mallards and gadwalls, killed 3 bands this year one being the first bird my dog brought back for the season. hunted mostly public land for the first time and had a much better season than previous years

I'll have to give it 9 only because the middle of December was average for us otherwise it would have been a 10. Low water was the curse for some people but it worked in our favor.

First half I give a 4.5 second half will receive an 8! Had a pretty good last half.

We had a good year in the timber fields were hit or miss and seemed to fight ice a good bit when we had the birds. Layouts in shallow water ended up being the ticket late. Had to work a little more than usual during hunting season but still a solid 7.

7 not as good as two years ago but I will not complain. Got to see some pretty sunrises, spent time with good friends and family. Killing almost 250 ducks helps the rating also. Still missed out on the last 2 weeks of the season due to weekend classes. Missed the last Sat when my group had 30+ Canvasbacks belly up in the decoys. I would do it all again.

7.. Killed limits most of the time, mostly blue bills and shovelers, didn't get that Can I wanted for the wall though..
