cross posting this. I did call twra and they did say they where taking a poll on calls!
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is accepting comments on a proposed Sandhill Crane hunting season. The usual suspects are opposing this action. I am encouraging everyone I know to call the TWRA and support the proposal. The switchboard operator is taking a simple tally and the opposition is mounting a call in campaign. I would like to encourage all of you to call 615-781-6610 and let them know you support the proposed season. Thanks in advance for your help.
Best to all,
Robert Van Sant

Yea I'd go to Tennessee and shoot a flying dinosaur. We also saw some whooping cranes today and everyone of the 12 or 14 of them has a radio tracking device on it. Talk about keeping up with a population.

It wasn't voted down. They tabled the issue until they could gather more information in regards to the population numbers.Doc & Nash wrote:The commission voted it down.
