I use a MoMarsh Fatboy as a layout boat, pack mule, and dog stand, depending on what I need. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

I got a marsh rat. Probably the best layout for the money. You can check them out at mallardmarine.com or I think you can buy them at Sportsmans Warehouse.

this one is a one off custom made job that has spud pole holders on each end with a pirogue bottom. I will be buying a fatboy DP or building a Kara this summer

I've got an Otter Stealth 1200 and would only trade it for the 2000. Great little boat, my 55 lb thrust trolling motor will almost make a wake behind it. We use it to haul decoys to our pit and I use it on a couple of the lakes we hunt on. I wouldnt recommend it but you can stand up and shoot out of it.

If ya want a sneak boat style and have basic tool skills and some basic woodwork skills, you can build your own. Gator Boats has a Croc model plans and you can modify them to put a top on it. We did it and it turned out great. Took about 24 hours of labor. Fun summer project and a nice boat to hunt out of. It will be a little heavier, but not bad. Just look at the croc photos and you will see our boat.
