No sleep last night because the twins have RSV, , because the twins have RSV I cancel my three days of duck hunting in the Delta that would have consisted of pure mayhem of epic proportions. Walk in my house at lunch time to discover the dishwasher leaking and squealing like the threads in fat girls thong, dang thing was hollering. Get home from the H.S. basketball game, go air Dee ( the dog) walk around the side of the house, Bamm!! the dang grinder is backed up in the yard. $#!+!! Take lid off grinder, bail out to find the problem, hole in the discharge side, will call plumber in the morning. Take off clothes at the back door, because I am full of shiat, no literally!! Walk inside, 10:30pm. The twins are high balling !!!!! to a deafening tone. I want so bad to get myself a beer or a scotch, but I cant, Im on a diet. dammm!! I hate being a fat booty!!! Did I mention the twins have RSV, and sleep, looks very promising, just not tonight!!! I hope tomorrow is a better day!!
Update:
From the looks of it the twins have turned the corner on the RSV bug, the shiat is being pumped down hill, and our life may just be turning back to homeostasis. So, this afternoon, I decide to make an "big" water diver hunt. Dee and I were jones'n for some action, to say the least. The first duck of the afternoon, a goldeneye, a little to far, but I shoot anyway..nothing but feathers. Damm, I cant believe I missed a Goldeneye, but who cares Im hunting!! Next, duck, cruising in at mach II, a drake dos gris. The forty-plus yard shot hits pay dirt, knocking the little diver out past the decoys. Dee takes off on cue and quickly returns from her journey carrying quite the surprise. A banded dos gris (Lesser Scaup, Blue Bill for you folks north of I-10) Needless to say, Im feeling a little bit better this evening....Sometimes things just seem to work out. I really really needed this evening!!! Thank you Lord!!! I am ready to tackle this week head on!!
