Been nailing the possums latley. Also rats and stotes because they threaten the waterfowl chicks. Our place is IDEAL for breeding.
I do a lot of Turkey hunting Josey. I like to take out a few gobblers because they often kill the chicks to get more sex. The girls want to try again if they loose their babies.
Yes, Teul2. The swans are the same kind here. Theyre touf mate. Last year I shot 1 that took two '00' buckshot's to get it out of the sky and then I had to chase it around the swamp, give it a number 6 in the head and still had to wring it's neck. My dog was scared of it. It was taller that me when I cornerd it and it stood right up with it's wings out...
Waterfowler, Here is my partner Magda ( http://www.oilpaint.co.nz ) feeding some rescue parries that she saved and raized. We are also the Far North Waterfowl Rescue.
This is the type of hunting grounds I have. Major wetlands and lakes. And 2 of my hunting dogs. The one in the hunting jacket is my retriever. He dives 2metres deep to retrieve anything he can see on the river bed as well as my dead ducks out on the lake. This is where I am camping at the moment.

The retriever is the one wearing the hunting coat. He is 6yrs old. His name is Hawk Beast Thudpaw Sandwichbeef Claw. (Puppy Hawks) for short. His mum was a Boxer & his dad was a Red Nose Pitbull X English Bull Terrier. He's AWESOME! He is great at guarding Magda at her art studio. ( www.oilpaint.co.nz) You can order portraits from her. She is especially good at animal portraits from a photograph. The other dog is my 1yr old Possum hunting (in training) boy. He is a Aligator X Tombstone Pitbull. His name is A Vindictive Mob Of Pigs And Pancing Ponys Dancing Slowly. (Piggyboy) for short.
And here is my 12yr old Shorthaird Boarder Collie. Her name is Moonflower. She can surf, round up anything including poultry and any pet and ride a motorcycle. She holds a top speed of 211Kelometers per hour. She rides on the tank and we have scraped the footpegs round many corners together. Here she is, resting by my campfire after todays long trapline of killing Possums. She runs 3 or 4 miles every day and can still kill a Possum with her blunt teeth. Smartest K9 I have ever seen.
