Found a Ford and a GMC almost identical price, trim level, mileage...Ford is an 06 with 61k miles, GMC is an 07 with 55k miles.
Only major difference is the ford can hold 6 people, the Gmc only 5.
Looking for owner feed back...
I know the 06 Fords tend to have issues with cv axles and some of the front end components but.., also know the hold up pretty well in accidents and they get worse fuel economy, and are a little harder to maintain....but im a Ford guy
Chevys I know had some transmission issues, but don't know what year they got the kinks worked out. Also know the gm products have issues with electrical and instrumentations...and then theres the buy out, and im not a fan of onstar...

I won't get into a Ford vs. Chevy debate...you are going to get plenty of that here shortly I'm sure. But I will tell you that I have had two good friends plucked out of bad situations because of onstar. one had a brain tumor pop while he was driving alone, at night, on a lightly travelled road in colorado. his truck slid upside down into a ditch. onstar "knew" the truck was upside down and he is alive today because he got help quickly. similar situation with the other guy.

If you buy a gm you might as well drive to capital hill, walk in the white house pull down Obama's pants and kiss his booty right in front of everyone. Then say thank you Mr. President I am but an ignorant tax payer, I realize now you know whats best for my life and our country. I thank you for keeping gm afloat in rough seas because they dont know how to manage their money. Sure you take a cut of every dollar I get but it sure does feel good while Im driving down the road in my shiney new Goverment Motors vehicle. I will smile in ignorace while I turn my head to what you have stolen from the American people in the forms of the Goverment Bail out and Stimulus package. Will you turn your focus now towards my guns and liberty they sure could use your healing touch.
