Not much water yet and very few ducks. What we did see what mostly Bootlips and teal.

Still had a nice shoot but not may big ducks yet.

Nah not today. The thought never crossed my mind to get in a boat today. We rode Friday and mid Sat afternoon.

How are you guys not killing green? Guys in southwest mississippi on one spot have killed 270 birds and 170 of them mallards. All around mid day on a cypress lake.


What are the mallards you speak of??? :D

he ain't lyin. know several guys that hunt this area. and they have been killing limits of mallards about every trip. doubt it's the same group of guys too. they been killin waay more mallards than any other species at that. followed by Gad's then woodies.

Thier starting to come in had a cpl hundred sitting on my place this afternoon will get after them this weekend hoping to get some greens in the mix this weekend

The mallards are coming mid day. So its not quick limits but piles of green are there if you have all day to stick it out. Bring 6 guys because they coming in big bunches.

Live in Dallas but my three connections...Bolivar cty,Quitman and Leflore are murdering ducks.

Been puttin in a lot of time ... Sitting till 1 and 2 o'clock...a few greenheads, but the big groups are wearing oxygen masks and flyin Mach 10....
