I live in the middle of the Misssissippi Delta. I drive by flooded rice fields and bean fields every day to and from work I'm not even seeing anything I mean nothing, this is December isn't it or maybe it's Sep. hell sure is hard to tell these days. Ok I feel a little better, not really. So is anybody seeing ducks I don't care where it is just let me know their moving!!!

The ducks in the area are in flooded timber, that's where I have been seeing the majority of the ducks, same goes with everyone else.

There some ducks using the local flatponds and sloughs the corp has fixed up. They will scatter quickly on Saturday morning. Need cold weather up North. Maybe hunting will be better by Christmas.

Sorry boys I wish I had better news for you but the weather up here in S. Ontario and the like is just too warm. It was 17Ctoday(67F). Last year at this time there was 3 inches of ice on the marsh and most of the birds had moved on. Sit tight and they will arrive. On the positive side maybe a bit selfish but it looks like we will have good shooting at the club I guide at until close which is Dec 20. Hunt safely, enjoy and appreciate every second you are in your blinds. Wicket
