Thats the most F*cked up way of a draw system it BS. and oh by the way thanks for changing the draw time from 4 30 to 5. now if you dont get drawn your just F*cked cause you have no time to get anywhere else and why I am on a roll, I would like to say thanks to the guy running Delta National for not flooding the place. The game and fish should put out a memo on there webpage of what they will flood and what they want. Sorry just had to vent.

Believe there were 50 groups at Mahannah this morning. My 4mo woke me up shortly after 2am so I got to Mahannah a few minutes before 4. There were at least 50 people standing out on the deck and stairs waiting on them to open the door and the number grew while I took a quick nap waiting on the crew to get there. Craziness....

Do your scouting before opening morning and you'll figure that out.

Seems like you should find another spot to hunt if it makes you that mad. Not being a smart booty, just saying. I appreciate any and all available spots, whether you "like" the system or not. Those guy's running those places are professional and work hard. Thank you to them.

By no means am I a fan of any draw...but its the best thing overall that's happened to the place and I have been hunting it a long time.....now this opener o was on pre draw and third to draw peg ....with luck of the draw it was 25out of 26 and drew a hole that we have killed many birds in just did not have nuff water ....we only took one greenhead .......now sat was difffent drew my favorite hole and had Great hunt ...2 man limit of 8 mallards 2 gads
1 teal and woody......so is the luck of the draw
My name is Rick Daughtry.......

Well, I had a lot of money, but to the city went
I met too many good looking girls and that's where my money went
Yeah I know just where it went
No I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

I hear you. Those a$$holes at MDWFP didn't even bother pumping the Scatters this year either.

They screwed up when they let people take atvs off the gravel road. PLace got swamped by fare weathered hunters too lazy to trek across the fields a mile toting decoys and stuff. I started hunting Mahanna before it was a WMA (where I started duck hunting in the early 80's) I hate the draw but with the way they let it get out of hand its the only way to make it safe. Everyone knows the best way to mess something up is to turn it over to the government.

Well this place is always crowed on the opener . The only thing I have to say is it was the only wma that had water that you could hunt that day. So what do they expect. Looks to me like maybe next year they could open all of them up for all three days . This should help with the crowd. I also heard from a conservation officer that all those people were turned away and there was one unit with nobody in it because someone cheated on the draw

Why do you alway have to accuse someone of cheaping. Honest mistakes happen.
