Danner Boots
Danner Boots
In the market for a new pair of boots and was curious about the duck south opinions. I hear they are very comfortable boots?? For those that have them which is your favorite style?

Re: Danner Boots
Wouldn't trade my Danner Frontiers for pretty much anything. Most comfortable things I've put on my feet and have worn them from 13,0000 feet up in the Grand Tetons to chasing turkeys in the river bottoms and swamps of MS. I have yet to have any type of blister, red spot, or foot pain in general and most importantly even after crossing several creeks with water above the boots I have YET to have WET feet......They are VERY WELL WORTH the price and they will last a long time.
Can't get much better of a testimonial than that
I will say my buddy had some Pronghorns and he said the support and sole went flat rather quickly. So I would stay away from those if at all possible.

thanks, olemissduckhunter.. I read several reviews on the pronghorns and all had similar response.
do you have the 6" or 8" boot, what are your thoughts?

I want to say I have the 8" but don't quote me on that. They come up to about mid-calf so I would probably guess they are the 8"

Mine leak but they're the most comfortable pair of snake boots I've ever had.

I've got a pair of pronghorns and I'm happy with them. Granted, they dont have near as many miles as my redwings but they are holding up well. I would buy them again. Haven't looked in to the frontiers but will.

4 years and a lot of miles on my Pronghorns and they are still the most comfortable shoes I own.
