GREENHEAD 22???????

Haha, very funny.

3 hunters, opening day, 5 ducks, 4 GH, 1 Woodie

5 hunters, sunday morning, 7 wood ducks

Two of my duckholes got drained a week and half ago and the ducks left, now it's water everywhere but not a lot of big ducks. Tons of woodies, but they are scattered out bigtime. We saw a lot of migrating mallards, but they were headed south, same goes with geese. Very little shooting in my area, don't know of a single person that had a full limit.

Hey, if he'd had somethin' besides that Simmons 'Aetec'(remember, the 'best' scope on the market), he mighta been able to see those deer good enough to get a shot. [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

(In all fairness, he didn't really have a clear shot.....and I apprediate him havin' the good sense NOT to take a chance on woundin' one o' my deer......'just couldn't pass on the scope 'jab'....hehehe) [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] It's unfortunate (for him) that I have such a GOOD memory for certain things! I could've dropped that deer in its tracks, I just didn't do it. I've shot through tighter spots than that. My dad is more of the tipper or stalker, but I hardly ever do it. Yeah, it's kinda hard to concentrate on the 'shot' when there's a guy breathing down your neck tellin' you to pass it up. I saw 'that' buck I was tellin' you 'bout, Sunday......on the other side of the driveway....gotta nice, high rack, but only about 15" (not quite past the shoulders). I'll try to get'im on film for you (a 3x5 glossy with me knealt-down beside him). [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

Let me tell ya, when I pull the trigger, meat hits the ground. I've never missed a buck that's been in my crosshairs. I haven't shot at a doe in 12 yrs and didn't know what to do. I think that Repel got that old doe stirred up.
