Enhance dog food around Starkville

Postby M.R.Ducks » Mon Nov 01, 2010 8:25 am

Anybody else feeding Enhance dog food around Starkville. If so you got a line on where to get it since the Co-Ops in Starkville and West Point are no longer carrying it!

Let me revise my previous statement. Arkat has sold the rights to Enhance dog food to Ainsworth Pet Nutrition. Ainsworth has decided to "revise" the nutritional ingredients in the Enhance line. From what I can tell they are now offering a Premium and Basic line to all of the dog foods they sell. So what I think is happening is they are not increasing the price of Enhance Pro Athlete and Hunters Edge but rather adding a Pro Athlete Premium and Hunters Edge Premium with an increased price tag and different ingredients.

None the less I am still trying to find a place to buy it or a substitute for it!

I got this news this week as well!!!! I raise Danes and they have done amazing on this food. So aggrivating to have a good feed that the dogs are used to adn have it taken away. I am still unsure what I am gonna have to switch to.

What food do yall recommend?

What do yall recommend that I could get around Starkville? I was feeding Sportsman's Pride and was purchasing it at the Neshoba County Co-op (I travel there regularly for work) but they have quit carrying it.
