Hey Dan, where did you hunt this weekend. I hope you were not on the island cause there wasn't much going on there. Also the ferry was down. Gonna try them again this weekend with the river rising it ought to put some water in the woods and they ought to be feeding on acorns.. holler at me Ben

HEY COACH, I WENT UP TO THE DELTA WITHOUT ANY SUCCESS, NEVER FIRED A SHOT IN TWO DAYS, TOO MUCH WATER EVERYWHERE. SAW QUITE A FEW HIGH GROUPS BUT COULD NOT WORK, PROBABLY A FEW HUNDRED ON THE WATER A QUARTER OF A MILE FROM OUR FIELD, RAISING CANE ALL MORNING SUN, GO FIGURE? ANYWAY I HEARD FRI. THAT THE FERRY WAS SHUT DOWN, HEARD WHEN THEY MAY GET IT UP AND RUNNING? DON'T KNOW YET IF I AM GOING BACK TO DELTA THIS WEEKEND OR NOT, BOY DO WE NEED A MAJOR COLD FRONT. IF I DO GO TO THE ISLAND I WILL LOOK YOU UP, GOOD LUCK AND LEAVE A FEW FOR ME ON THE SOUTH END, HA!

Baw, I haven't heard on the ferry this week. But I know they'll put you across without your truck. If its down i'm gonna ride the 4-wheeler to camp.. Sorry to hear about your opening weekend it sounds that was the case alot. If I don't talk to you again good luck this weekend. Ben
