No problem ol' man. I appreciate the feed back from everyone. I got a chance to shoot it this weekend and was very pleased. My 1st two shots were almost touching. Can't wait to see what it is gonna do to some lungs!!!

We've been shooting Win. ballistic silvertips & just wanted to try something different.

i've called several retailers and discussed the hornady ammunition. They said that Hornady hasn't manufactured more ammunition in the last 2 years? said that it is backordered everywhere and they haven't gotten any in over a year?

Looking like what ever you can find in 7mm-08 this year is what you going to shoot. It is slim pickings around jackson on that round this year. I bought one last year and a box of core lokts to try starting out. I hope my rifle likes them.

bought the last box of hornady GMX 139gr at Bonds in New Albany,

they had winchester ballistic tips and a silver tip bullet also both in 140gr. check them out, if ya'll needin some. I'm sure if you paid over phone they would ship. nice folks.

called Hunters Hollow just a few minutes ago and they had : fusion 120gr $29.99; winchester 140gr power point $39.99, federal premium nosler ballistic $42.99, fusion 140gr. $29.99, federal 150gr softpoint $29.99

also said they could special order some other type ammo if need be

Just out of curiosity, would yall be willing pay 40.00 a box (plus shipping) for a hand loaded 120 grain bullet?

what about the Honady light mag, It may be what yall are talking about I just dont know the accroyms.

When I looked a couple of years ago they were the "best" on the charts, beat the socks off everything else.
