If you want decent information about most hunting in Illinois you can log on to siloutdoors.com. It is a website based on hunting in Southern Illinois, but the guys on there hunt all over the state. I'm from Mississippi but moved to Southern Illinois this year in April. The guys on the deer hunting forum there are extrememly helpful and insightful when it comes to deer. They are a wealth of knowledge and have helped me find several good places to hunt this year. Hope that helps.

it doesnt really matter what county up there because it is so much more awesome than hunting in mississippi. One week up there will make you trade your whole season in down here.
Re: Illinois Bow Hunting?
I have hunted Edgar County- Missed a 150 or better and stuck one in the 140's on my 3rd day. Saw one of the biggest deer of my life on the trip. I would say anywghere in Illinois would be a good hunt based on the weather and if it does not cost you a lot, go for the experience!!
Thank GOD for everything!

I would not go to IL. You should just stay home in MS, work hard, bathe kids, etc.

Hunted Fulton County last year first week of November. Our group didn't fair so well but the other guys in camp did, they drove back to Boston with a 200incher.
