Sounds like its time for the old soap dispensing. It won't matter if he is huntin as long as he ain't shootin.
Re: neighbor/hunter trouble help
An old guy I knew that had an issue with a dude rifle hunting a small property (maybe 5 acres) right next to his hunting land. The other guy was hunting the property line next to his where he had food plots and all the stuff to hold deer, and he was also nervous about getting shot. He solved the problem by going to a local hair cutting place and paying on of the ladies there a few bucks to bag up all the hair she swept up for a week. He then put the hair out all around the other guys property. He said that it almost entirely shut down the deer going onto that little property since it wreaked of human scent. He didn't have to worry about the guy shooting any more deer.
Kind of an A hole thing to do, but if you pour out bags of human hair around that guys stand, he won't be seeing too many deer. I guess it's the same premise as the soap trick. Taking a morning dump on his bait site each day might be more satisfying though.
Probably best to consult to property owner again and discuss the proximity to your house and how it's on the property line. I'd hold the game warden card for if all else fails.

Re: neighbor/hunter trouble help
had this problem two years ago... the warden took care of it and problem solved. Plus by that time he prolly aint gonna take the time to clean up his mess, making it an illegal spot the rest of the season.

Moth balls work just as well as the human hair trick. Both of them will keep deer from coming around the property, hunting site. I would do the moth ball/hair trick an call the warden. B/c u might nit know when he goes in to hunt every time.

Going on the neighbors property to put the hair and/or moth balls out means you have trespassed. Call the Game Warden and let them handle it.

From what I understood in his post, the guy was hunting on HIS property line. Not that hard to stand on the line an throw moth balls if ur that worried someone is going to turn u in for trespassing.Seymore wrote:Going on the neighbors property to put the hair and/or moth balls out means you have trespassed. slingshot, sling 'em like the "buck balls", or whatever they were that were deer scented, that you use a slingshot to "put 'em out without putting your scent in the area"

Experience is a freakin' awesome teacher...
