You wouldn't be able to handle it  Since my son was born I do not have many chances to tie one on. Even when I go out I usually have to drive so I do not drink much. Just so happened that weekend I was not driving and had a great hunt that morning, so I just used this as my chance to be overserved and not have to worry with other things. I was responsible enough not to endanger anyone else messing with a loaded gun with my drunk booty.
Damn, i thought I had that one

Is that buddy of yours tryin to blow that call or make love to it?

I like to consider myself a honorary member of the ATF, I enjoy alcohol, tobacco and firearms....sometimes all at once.
Surely the longer a man duck hunts the wealthier he becomes in experience,in reminiscence,in love of nature,if he goes out with the harvest of a quiet eye, free from the plague of himself

It's all fun and games until somebody gets killed (then it an ACCIDENT). I can't say I didn't do it when I was young and dumb, but I got a family that depends on Daddy coming home. It aint worth it for me to be around it.

Got a call my first year on about a hunting accident. Guy fell from treestand. I called his wife and she says, "I told him he was too drunk to hunt, but he went anyway."

Apparently she dropped him off at the stand. He brought the beer with him, cause it would just be horrible to get thirsty while hunting.

So a few cold ones later, he falls 18 feet to the ground. Is taken from western Quitman county all the way to Oxford (at least an hour drive) and BAC is .26 when he gets there. Largely unharmed minus a few bruises and poisoned brain cells. Beer cans all around the stand when I went to investigate. Thank the Lord nobody was walking anywhere close to him. No telling what he might have done if he saw some movement.
