How important is decoy conditon ?

I hunted with a guy before that liked throwing out alot more hens because he thought it would bring in more Drakes lol!!!! I guess just do what you like! I normally kinda dunk mine some in the water when I pick them up to help get duck weed and mud off them and the same guy use to have a can of armour all foam and spray his every few days. All i can say is we always killed ducks if they was flying with his way and with mine. I never saw the difference.

During the season all I do is dunk mine while Im picking them up to get the duck weed, mud, etc off. An about a couple of days b4 season opens I get em out an use water and a brush on em. Never have done the whole armour all trick on an I have never had a problem of killin ducks if I was where they wanted to be.
